The mysterious Australian singer-songwriter-producer is back with another piece of misshapen electronic-pop, that adds yet more weight to this super early promising find. ‘Sad Hot Girls’ is part Toro Y Moi, part Washed Out with a notable nod to Jai Paul. With a smattering of psychedelic strings, fizzing electronics and hazy, blissed-out vocals, ‘Sad Hot Girls’ verges on the edge of indie-pop, although really it's lo-fi vibes by the bucketful.
